MyChart Bedside utilizes your hospital’s medical record system to securely display pertinent information. Please consult your care team to confirm compatibility with your facility's system.

You can access MyChart Bedside in two ways:

• Bedside in MyChart Mobile: Utilize the MyChart app on your personal iPhone or iPad to access various Bedside features.
• Bedside for tablet: Experience the complete Bedside features on an iPad, including options for documenting information and communicating with your care team. A hospital-provided or personal iPad is required for this application.

In both Bedside for tablet and Bedside in MyChart Mobile, you can view:

• The treatment team details, including bios and roles.
• Patient education materials.
• Inpatient medications and lab results.
• Hospital health-related information.
• Your patient schedule, encompassing medication schedules, nursing tasks, surgical procedures, and more.
• Inpatient questionnaires.
• Dining menus and ordering functionalities.
• Inpatient video visits through Epic video conferencing.
• Your hospital’s applications, websites, and additional integrated content.

Furthermore, in Bedside for tablet, you have access to these communication and documentation features:

• E-signature forms (no signature pad required).
• Bedside chat for sending non-urgent messages to the care team.
• Note-taking capabilities that include patient-recorded audio or video and shared clinical notes.
• Options for submitting non-urgent requests.

Please note that the specific features available within the MyChart Bedside app depend on your healthcare organization's configurations and whether they are using the latest Epic software version.
